I believe that to be a writer, you need to live a life. I wrote short stories, stand-up comedy sets, and screenplays in my free time while working in a variety of industries, seeking out interesting jobs and experiences which ranged from veterinary sciences to machine maintenance to food service. All if it has contributed to my work ethic, my voice, and my writing.
